Tacos
Hi:) Reporting in from Bristol again this week because im staying another transfer. So that means im in the bristol mission! I got a new companion Sister Parry, shes fiery and not just because she has perfect red hair hahaha. We both got a new assignment as STL's!!!
Bristol is truly a culmination of every type of person gathered in the same city. I saw every part on the human body there is to see while street contacting on Saturday. Hahahaha that day was super warm, so we headed into town for a few lessons. I got a teeny weeny bit sunburnt which is kind of a big deal since living in England. One of our new friends is American actually, she is looking for a new church! Miss lady is an actual girl boss. Shes a lawyer, and such a deep thinker, she was asking how families can be sealed, such and such upon our first time meeting :') go girl go
Everythings good just a little depressing lately our ward mission leader was asking what our schedule was like as missionaries and i was so excited to tell him what we do every day. Then he goes "well if you are spending so much time apparently doing 'missionary work' why dont we have anyone to talk about" i was like ooh right can i plz be excused to jump in the actual bristol channel. Who says that hahahahaha rant over but i swear i was hanging on by a very thin thread....... anyways. I've found not hyper-focusing on numbers help me find more joy and meaning to the work I do.
If you have read this far i just want to send a lot of love to missionaries serving in hard wards. The Lord blessing our backs for carrying the weight of missionary work in the area fr
We had legit birria tacos this week i think that refilled me enough mentally, spiritually, emotionally for the rest of the week. Reading the scriptures does that too but im Going week by week rn if you know what I mean.
This week i was able to read my favorite book in the whole Book of Mormon, which is the book of Jacob. Jacob is such an empathetic prophet. His language is so inspiring and His genuine concern for the people is such an example to me of how to be an instrament in the hands of the Lord. I did a deep study of the Olive tree in Jacob 5 and I was able to understand the significance of the allegory a lot better. To me the comparison of the olive tree shows so much significance i how much God truly does love us, and through grafting, digging, pruning, trials and tribulation we can grow, produce fruit and have joy. Personally im really feeling the digging and pruning but fruit will come soon enough hahaha
Enough from me I want to hear about you guys so that means email me!!!!! I love you!!!!!
