Just A Blast And A Half

This week was literally THE BEST WEEK. Went to London and saw 3 apostles (!!!!!!) Found 3 new people to teach, listened to a lot of Christmas music and felt so close to the Savior all week. It was honestly a magical week ♡♡☆☆♡

Don't mean to be prideful BUT I was in arms length from Elder Holland and got a photo right behind him. If you don't believe me check Elder Cook's IG for the receipts. I'd been praying about this experience for so long and when the apostles stepped out of the car I got so emotional hahaha. Before they came My companions and I said "it feels like we are about to see one direction" being in London and all hahaha. It was so funny because we were lined up for a photo for about 30 minutes across from the London College of Music. Literally so many random people took photos of us and everyone was straight up staring lol

London was legit DREAMY. Like we only saw probably 0.1% of the city but walking around and seeing everything from the Bus I can't wait to go back one day I am in love with it. Hahaha

As cool as it was there was nothing that compares to seeing and hearing the words of the apostles. They talked so much about missionary work. Love share and invite!!! One profound impression i felt is that our missionary work (sharing the gospel) is something we need to be doing for forever by perservering (enduring to the end) and hearkening to the words of the prophets and apostles, Christ, and the scriptures.

Its so amazing how the apostles constantly talked about how their missions meant the whole world to them. They said they think about it every single day and it changed their life. My dad and sister have told me that countless times too. I think about how much I've changed since my mission started. The gospel means everything to me. On a few accounts the apostles stated "one day you will stand before Christ and he will ask you what works you did" and bringing others unto the gospel is the most important work in the world!!! I truly believe that. I know I belong in England at this time!

I just want to say English roasts are really good. And Pasties legit bomb.com not to mention the chocolate here is amazing for absolutely no reason. I never liked bananas but I eat like 3 every day now hahaha I'm turning into my dad. Still waiting to try a Yorkshire pudding ill lyk how that goes!

I went street contacting for the first time and found a friend called Paul! We are waiting to hear back from him. He has two Dalmatians so obviously had to strike up a convo. He loves family history!!!! another referral agreed to meet with us and we went to another ones house on Saturday night and I saw people walking on the street and I'm like "dang people in England have a fun sense of style" I legit thought I saw a real nun but then I remembered it was Halloween I completely forgot hahaha!! We got to the referrals house and he said he wanted to meet with us but there is a very fair chance he was just drunk lol. We will see how that goes I can't wait!!! I love love love our friends so much!

I'm thankful for each of you and luv you very much!! I do be missing riding my bike but its ok.
