Madness Innit XX

This week was a roller coaster hahahaha!!! For starters we had two dinner appointments and in one of them we were helping the Hastings pack up their house and the girls made me clothes out of "rubbish" (trash) lol. Then in the middle of dinner the younger girl barfed everywhere it was a sight hahahaha. At our other dinner appointment it was the Ridley's. They have 5 children and while making dinner the oven caught on fire. Pure chaos but its so fun.

Getting used to the tiny cars and houses and roads. Literally driving is actually like mariokart in real life its thrilling for sure. Everyones homes are puny and packed with furniture and their kitchens are the same size as my closet at home! They're SO SMALL and everyone's fridges are just mini fridges like how do they do it??

We did service at the mansions this week and I couldn't believe how elegant the house was. Sadly it was in poor condition and would cost around 15 million to fix up. As we were leaving I saw a really cute dog and I complimented the owner. She goes "are you a nun??" And I was like no haha and explained a little. She was very curious about the church and I had never shared with an actual person before so after talking I asked if she'd like for us to share a message with her sometime. She wasn't sure so I just have her a card and went on our ways. I felt the spirit strongly and it was encouraging me to just ask and so I did!! It was kinda scary but felt good.

There are wild hedgehogs here!!!! Its legit so precious hahahaha reminds me of my old hedgehog peanut #freepeanut
We have 2 wards we go to which is Newton Abbott and Paignton. The youngest person in the Paignton ward is legit 61. Lots of old and wise folk. One of the members called Phil literally is so funny he said the first time he came to church he had a shirt on that said "bring me another beer" hahaha he's such a strong member now he's around 60 but he will literally go out and proselyte as if he was a missionary hahaha doing the Lords work fr. Love that guy

We taught a few lessons this week. I have been reading "our search for happiness" by M Russell Ballard and its such a wonderful book. We went to teach our friends Brian and Maggie and I had a prompting to bring the book to read during our lesson. Come to find out when we are teaching that was the book that brought Brian to the church and be baptized. I was able to leave it with him and his wife to read again and I was very thankful for that.

You're all the best and I hope each of you have a wonderful week. The savior knows each of you personally and through prayer you can and will become closer to him. I've felt it in my life personally and I encourage each of you to reach out to him!!! Love you and have a good week.
