Bye MTC, Hi England

Best and most disastrous week ever!!! I left the MTC, it was so sad leaving my district family as I became so close to them and I'm so grateful for our time together! 08F for lifers. Ambreedaburger I'm going to miss you and I already miss you actually

About the day before I left the MTC sent me an urgent notice saying that they were unaware I was at the MTC!! Haha craziness. It gets worse as I also had to flight itinerary or cell phone but we figured it out!!! Blessings

FIRST PLANE RIDE!!! Day to leave the MTC came and we woke up at 2:50am where we took 5 buses just to make it to SLC airport. When your suitcases are the same size as you it makes it a wee bit more difficult and a couple of escalator jams hahaha. The airport security also threw away all of my products I was very disappointed. However I made it on the plane first to Atlanta. The first thing when we got off was some kind person gave us money for food. Next plane was to London and it was so long. The food ran out when it got to me and I had some form of chicken instead hahaha. When we arrived at the airport my bags were split wide open! What a complete disaster hahaha.

We arrived in London and took the coach to Bristol and spent the night in a hotel. Before we got to the hotel we spent 8.5 hours at a church. President had no idea I was coming! How great. I felt bad because I'm now in a trio and it's my trainers last transfer. Sister Murley and Sister Olsen are in my trio but they are so kind and genuine. My first area is Newton Abbot. We have the most posh flat in the whole mission which is such a blessing but I have to lower my expectations now haha.

We taught Amy a returning member as well as her father Andy and they were both as tall as me hahaha so good. It went to my first chippy (fish and chips) so deliciouso and just yummy. We ate at a lookout and did some contacting as well as went to a graveyard that morning that was build in like the 1600s and it was so foggy that morning it felt like a movie. That's how I have felt the whole time here. The beauty is indescribable. So funny tho we were at the town centre and kids were on their mountain bikes so I started chatting with them and they were so surprised to know I mountain biked I said I'm from where red bull rampage is and they were so taken back hahaha. Another young kid was skating so I said "do a tre flip!!" And he did hahaha. I also did a magic trick for the children in our Newton Abbot ward they were so excited hearing their little British accents it's heart melting. Also the sacrament prayer is so amazing in a British accent hahaha.

Although I'm extremely jet lagged and everything went wrong there are always silver linings. Simply being here is a manifestation of God's love for me. I look out the window as I drive through England and almost get emotional at the beauty and the spirit testifies to me every time that this is exactly where I am supposed to be. I have more blessings than I can count. A profound principle that keeps coming up in my studies is the light of Christ. Sometimes it's like the flick of a switch it's dark at first but suddenly the light comes on and you can see everything. Other times it's like a sunrise, gradual and with time the light comes. And sometimes it's like a foggy day where the light only allows you to see a few feet ahead of you and it takes your faith to follow that light. That didn't come from me btw it was Elder Bednar but I definitely felt stuck in the fog for a long time!!! Even when traveling here it seemed so foggy like am I ever going to get there hahaha the good news is the fog always clears and the light (and blessings) will pour down upon you. I am so happy and joyful there truly is sunshine in my soul today and every day on the mission so far.

1 Nephi 17:3

And I will also be your light in the wilderness; and I will prepare the way before you, if it so be that ye shall keep my commandments; wherefore, inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall be led towards the promised land; and ye shall know that it is by me that ye are led.

Love y'all bye now!!!
